On their top-picks-list, Common Sense has gathered 23 excellent tools that can help children with early reading, highlighting a variety of techniques that support every step of the learning process - because learning to read is different for each child, but equally important for everyone.

Poio is described by the editors as a child-centered reading game focused on discovery and enjoyment, with a clever spin on phonetics and a playful introduction to reading.
